Diploma in Electro-Homoeopathy Medicinal System
A two-year institutional diploma in the electro-homoeopathy medicinal system — structured theory, supervised practical orientation, ethical patient interaction, and community health literacy within clear legal limits. Jan Ayush Sansthan designs, delivers, and certifies this programme.
Brand note: DEMS and CMS & ED are conducted and certified by Jan Ayush Sansthan. Naturopathy and yoga-network diplomas are coordinated with Maharshi Patanjali Yog Evam Prakritik Chikitsa Parishad (MPYPCP), operating since 2007 (17+ years). See MoU and our courses.

The Diploma in Electro-Homoeopathy Medicinal System (DEMS) is one of five named diploma tracks at Jan Ayush Sansthan. It trains learners in the electro-homoeopathy medicinal system as set out in the institutional syllabus — not as informal village practice, but as a documented, ethics-first pathway with assessments and clear boundaries. Eligibility, fees, batch dates, and module hours for your intake are confirmed in the official prospectus and Notices. If this page and an official document differ, the official document prevails.

Diploma — Jan Ayush Sansthan
Electro-homoeopathy is taught here as a distinct medicinal-system discipline within Jan Ayush Sansthan’s health-education framework. The DEMS diploma introduces its historical development, core principles, classification of remedies used in the syllabus, and the educational approach to patient assessment and follow-up — always alongside instruction on limits of practice and mandatory referral to registered medical systems when illness is serious, unclear, or emergencies arise.
DEMS is not the same programme as CMS & ED (primary-care essential medicines) or the naturopathy / yoga diplomas coordinated with MPYPCP. Each track has its own syllabus, duration, and scope. Choose DEMS if your goal is structured training specifically in the electro-homoeopathy medicinal system.
Unless a published notice changes the plan for your batch, DEMS is organised across two academic years with progressive depth — foundations first, then applied orientation and field-linked practice.
Note: The table below is an overview of teaching themes for prospective learners. Exact unit titles, hours, textbooks, and examination pattern are in your batch prospectus and faculty notes — not superseded by this website summary.

|---|---|---|
| Year 1 | Introduction to electro-homoeopathy | Origins, principles, scope of the medicinal system; professional identity within Jan Ayush framework. |
| Human sciences (basics) | Anatomy & physiology overview, hygiene, common symptoms — language for safe case discussion. | |
| Materia medica I | Foundational remedy groups and classifications as per syllabus; indication awareness in teaching context. | |
| Pharmacy & dispensing (intro) | Forms, storage, labelling concepts; legal limits on supply and prescribing in India. | |

| Year 2 | Materia medica II | Advanced themes, combinations, contraindication awareness as taught — faculty-led only. |
| Case taking & classification | Structured history, follow-up, red-flag recognition; educational case records. | |
| Clinical orientation | Supervised observation / demonstration where batch schedule allows; no substitute for statutory clinical degrees. | |
| Community health II | Family health education, chronic disease literacy (referral-focused), women & child basics. | |
| Practice management | Clinic hygiene, stock discipline, referrals, working with employers / NGOs / study centres. | |
| Field / project work | Practical logbooks, viva / project as per prospectus; certificate only after all requirements met. |
May not be the right fit if you expect an MBBS-equivalent medical degree, unrestricted allopathic prescribing, or automatic government registration — DEMS is an institutional diploma with defined educational scope.
Outcomes depend on your diploma, local law, registration, and employer policies. The list below is illustrative — not a job guarantee or licence to practise medicine independently.
